Are you frustrated with AI detection tools marking your genuine work? I compared Undetectable AI with Rewritify to find out which one truly makes your text seem human, and one stood out as the clear winner.
Between worries about AI detection and the effort to make ChatGPT sound less like a machine, tools like Undetectable AI and Rewritify have found a special place. They say they’ll change robotic text to have those human touches we see in our writing — but do they really succeed?
As someone who explored this area, I wondered the same thing. So, I compared both platforms on readability, detection tests, and cost. What did I find? Both do what they promise, but one stands out and surprised me with its performance.
Curious which one it is? Let’s see.
What are Undetectable AI and Rewritify?
Many students have faced being wrongly accused of using AI for their assignments. AI humanizers are designed to fix this issue.
Undetectable AI and Rewritify are tools that make AI-generated text sound more human. They work by getting rid of typical AI traits like repeated phrases, common AI vocabulary, and made-up information, while also adding small mistakes to make the text feel more genuine.
Undetectable AI vs. Rewritify: Readability
The first noticeable aspect is the tone and clarity. Undetectable AI is straightforward and simple, almost bare, while Rewritify tends to be overly elaborate — sometimes awkwardly so. For example, the phrase “elm trees, once ubiquitous, are characterized by their vase-like shape” seems like it’s from an overly complex thesaurus entry.
Rewritify often uses odd phrasing (“exterminated numbers”? Really?) that confuses rather than clarifies. While the grammar is mostly correct, the sentences feel forced and unnatural.
Undetectable AI isn’t perfect either — it omits articles (“American elm” instead of the American elm) and has awkward lines like “Elms shade and live in,” which feels like a jumbled grammar exercise. Still, it stays truer to the original and is easier to read. The main idea is clear, even if it’s not polished.
Between the two, Undetectable AI is a bit rough, but Rewritify tries too hard and sounds mechanical. For staying true to the source and being readable, Undetectable AI is the better choice — no contest.

Undetectable AI vs. Rewritify: Pricing
Let’s discuss pricing because, honestly, your budget is important.
Undetectable AI offers simple pricing: $5 a month with a yearly plan, including a 50% discount, or $19 for the monthly option. Each has a word cap — 10,000 for the yearly and 20,000 for the monthly — but you can increase it to 380,000 words if necessary.
Rewritify has three pricing options. The Basic plan costs $14 each month for 5,000 words. The Ultimate plan is $24 monthly, giving you 50,000 words. There’s also an Unlimited plan for $49 a month. The Ultimate plan offers five times more words than the Basic plan but costs less than twice as much.
Undetectable AI offers a plan for $5 a month, giving you 10,000 words. This is much better than Rewritify’s Basic plan, which costs almost three times more for only half the words.
So, Which Should You Pick?
I split this into three parts: how easy it is to read, getting past AI checks, and cost. Undetectable AI came out on top for all three.
It’s far ahead of the nearest rival. The only drawback is that its readability isn’t perfect, but it’s hard not to suggest it to everyone.
Rewritify is quite good, but I don’t see it as a good buy. It doesn’t offer anything that Undetectable AI can’t, and it’s less budget-friendly. Plus, their free trial is limited (only 80 words per account, while Undetectable AI offers 200 words and daily spins for extra words), making it harder to access.
One last thing: always use these tools responsibly. With that in mind, I highly suggest you read this article. Best of luck!
