In a landscape full of false alarms, AI bypass tools are your go-to for avoiding academic penalties. Yet, they aren’t all the same. In this piece, I’ll dive deep into Undetectable AI and GPTinf, so you won’t have to.
One major side effect of artificial intelligence is the occurrence of false positives. You might have heard about this, even if you haven’t encountered it yourself.
This happens when you’re wrongly accused of using AI because the detectors aren’t as reliable as people assume. At the least, you might get a stern warning. At the worst, you could face academic penalties for something you didn’t actually do.
To protect your work from false positives, AI bypassers can be helpful. But, many you find online may not be safe or effective.
Undetectable AI has always been our preferred AI bypasser, yet we continuously search for better options. That’s how we discovered GPTinf. We compared these two bypassers directly and evaluated their performance.
To sum it up, GPTinf works well. However, I lean towards using Undetectable. It offers more features and seems more dependable. Here’s a detailed comparison:
What are Undetectable AI and GPTinf?
AI tools like Undetectable AI and GPTinf help bypass detection systems. They rewrite AI-generated text so it doesn’t trigger alerts. They often change how sentences are built, use a variety of words, and add small human-like mistakes.
What Features Do They Have?
Undetectable AI stands out when it comes to features. It not only includes a strong AI bypass tool but also lets you adjust the output settings.
- Readability: High school, college, PhD, reporter, advertising.
- Purpose or Use Case: Writing types like essays, stories, articles, cover letters, reports, marketing pieces, legal documents, and business materials.
- Balance Level: Natural, clear, and well-balanced
Undetectable AI provides a free service to rewrite your text if it gets flagged by AI detectors. They collect scores from eight different detectors, like Content At Scale, Sapling, and Copyleaks. But when I check with these tools myself, I always find them inaccurate.
Another feature of Undetectable AI is the Human Typer Chrome Extension. This tool lets you input text, and it types it out for you, mimicking how a person would type. You can find more details about it here.
Let’s talk about GPTinf’s features. Actually, it really just has one main feature. Besides its AI bypass tool, GPTinf includes a freeze list. This lets you pick parts of your input that should stay the same.
Undetectable AI vs. GPTinf: Output Quality
Let’s discuss how good their output is. I’ll look at two things: how easy it is to read and how many grammar mistakes there are. To be clear, I’ll show the original ChatGPT text I used and the prompt that made it.
Essay
ChatGPT Prompt: Compose a brief essay on globalism in fewer than 100 words
At first glance, Undetectable AI might seem harder to read than GPTinf because of its odd punctuation. But if you read through it, you’ll see that Undetectable AI, with correct punctuation, flows better than GPTinf. For example, this part from GPTinf doesn’t really make sense to me:
“Globalism or the interconnectedness between nations smashing the borders to awake trade, commerce, and cultural exchange.”
If you take the same sentence from Undetectable AI and add a missing comma, it makes more sense:
“The concept of globalism goes beyond borders to encourage collaboration, trade, and the sharing of cultures, among nations.”

The results from GPTinf are much better than those from Undetectable AI, in my view. It captures the original tone more effectively and swaps one idiom for another that fits well (“bit off more than you can chew” instead of “in over your head”).
While Undetectable AI might dodge AI detection, it still feels off. Anyone can tell it’s not written by a human—it’s too dull, and the words are overly fancy.
Story
ChatGPT Prompt: Craft a short story set in a convenience store, limited to under 100 words
I noticed that Undetectable AI and GPTinf have different goals. The first tries hard to avoid AI detection, while the second aims to keep the story going.
Undetectable AI’s story doesn’t really feel like a story. Instead, it’s like the end result of a game of Telephone, where the message gets so mixed up it’s hard to follow. I wouldn’t want to use it as a bedtime story.
GPTinf’s version, though not as good as the original, still keeps the story readable and flowing. It feels more natural, even if it isn’t quite the same.
Cover Letter
ChatGPT Prompt: Generate a concise cover letter, under 100 words, for a barista job opening
I’d call this a draw. Undetectable AI is easier to read than GPTinf, similar to essays, but it has more punctuation mistakes. On the other hand, GPTinf doesn’t flow as smoothly due to grammar issues, like in this sentence: “I am an enthusiastic, dependable and excited to bring my skills”
Marketing Copy
I’m quite happy with both marketing copies; they seem pretty solid. That said, there’s room for a bit of tweaking. For instance, in Undetectable AI’s copy, the last sentence could join with the one before it using a comma. Also, in GPTinf’s text, the phrase “character superior” feels a bit unclear to me.

How Much Do They Cost?
There are two main pricing options for both Undetectable AI and GPTinf. For the first one:
- Monthly: The cost begins at $9.99 each month for a total of 10,000 words. It can go up to $209 monthly for more than 380,000 words.
- Annual Payment: The service begins at $5 monthly for 10,000 words, and it can go up to $104.42 for more than 380,000 words each month.
As for GPTinf:
- Monthly: The cost begins at $12 monthly for 10,000 words, with options reaching up to $349 per month for over 500,000 words.
- Annual Payment: The pricing begins at $8 monthly for 10,000 words and reaches up to $233 monthly for over 500,000 words.
So, What Now?
I’ve known for a while that Undetectable AI is great at avoiding detection, but GPTinf was a pleasant surprise. Honestly, I thought it might be a scam because the design is so basic. I’m glad I tried it, though, because it’s one of the top AI bypass tools I’ve tested.
Right now, I’m sticking with Undetectable AI due to its proven track record and advanced customization options. There’s no need to change what’s already working well. In the future, if GPTinf keeps improving its backend, I’ll test it again to see if it matches Undetectable’s features, and then I’ll reconsider.
