The 5 Best Undetectable.AI Alternatives (for Bypassing AI Detectors)

Undetectable.ai is a fantastic tool for reworking ChatGPT content to make it readable by humans and pass most AI detection systems. If you need a substitute or just another tool to enhance your writing, consider these top alternatives you should try.

5 best undetectable 1

We’ve now arrived at a stage where ChatGPT and AI-generated writing are widely accepted, without the stigma they once had. I’ve been a fan of Undetectable AI since it was launched, and I absolutely love it.

If you’re hesitant to publish AI-generated content directly, you can use a tool like Undetectable to paraphrase it. This usually helps you avoid AI detection. These tools are helpful to avoid false positives and to clear your name if you’re wrongly accused of using AI.

It’s really simple to use when you need a quick rewrite but are short on time. For a detailed explanation of how it works, I’ve also written a full review of Undetectable AI with more information.

While this tool is fantastic, there are other options available that offer similar functions but vary your sentences in different ways.

1) HideMyAI

HideMyAI is a tool for rephrasing text, much like Undetectable. It lets you pick from seven rewriting styles, eight education levels, and four viewpoints using dropdown menus.

HideMyAI shows how likely it is for AI detectors like Originality, TurnItIn, and Content at Scale to flag your content. It’s wild. It also keeps my grammar and sentence structure more intact compared to Undetectable, though this can differ.

HideMyAI is free if you create an account, and they give you some credits to start. There’s also a Pro plan with a 10,000-word limit for $8.25 a month, but trying the free version first is a good idea. It helps you see which tool fits your needs best.

If any of your altered writing gets flagged as AI content, you can get back credits for those instances.

2) Bypassengine

I worked with Bypassengine for a while, but it feels poorly designed. It offers around 50 tools for rewriting but doesn’t explain what sets them apart. Here’s what they mention:

  • V1 and V2: Highest level of stealth.
  • V1 to V29: Works best for TurnItIn and ZeroGPT.
  • V30 to V50: Best for all detectors.

What sets V31 apart from V47? I’m not sure. The thing is, I find it quite messy, but it’s cost-effective and still works well, similar to Undetectable and HideMyAI.

When it comes to accuracy, it’s uncertain. It won’t match Undetectable AI in avoiding AI detection. For readability, here’s something you can check out yourself. Me? I think it’s a bit odd.

3) Quillbot Paraphraser

Quillbot has gained popularity as an AI writing tool since it came out in 2017. It offers features like a grammar checker, summarizer, translator, and plagiarism checker, making it perfect for teachers, essay writers, and other writing professionals. As of now, in October 2024, Quillbot has more than 56 million users actively using it.

The paraphrasing tool from Quillbot is available for free without needing to sign up. But, it limits you to 125 words per input and provides 9 different writing modes. To remove these limits, you can choose the premium plan, which starts at $19.95 per month. With this plan, you get access to all features, including the Paraphraser History and Plagiarism Checker.

QuillBot struggles to consistently evade AI detection on its own without additional tools. Let me show you an example of what I mean:

Quillbot Pros and Cons

4) Paraphraser.io

Paraphraser.io is an AI tool for writing, started in January 2020. It offers a free version with extra paid features. You can use it to rewrite articles, check grammar, summarize text, and check for plagiarism. The paraphrasing tool comes with six writing styles, and the article rewriter has two styles. It also has a plugin for WordPress.

With Paraphraser.io, you can rewrite in 11 languages and paraphrase in 12, like Dutch, French, German, Japanese, and Tagalog. The free version lets you rewrite up to 500 words or paraphrase up to 400 words at a time. For $9 a week, you can increase this to 1500 words.

It’s clear the rewriter tool consistently scores high on human-like text, with a 99% Human Probability score each time. However, Paraphraser seems to fall short. Its writing quality matches QuillBot, but it doesn’t evade AI detectors as effectively as Undetectable AI.

5) WriteHuman

WriteHuman has truly surprised me in the world of AI writing. For a long time, I’ve relied on Undetectable AI because it transforms AI-generated content into something that feels more human. Honestly, it’s been the only tool that met my standards.

I didn’t think WriteHuman would reach that level, but it has.

Even though it came out much later, its quality and accuracy are almost as good as Undetectable AI. I still believe the older tool is superior, but this new one is definitely giving it a run for its money.

Which Alternative Should You Use?

After running detailed tests, I found two standout options that I prefer over Undetectable AI: HideMyAI and WriteHuman. HideMyAI is quite similar, while WriteHuman rewrites text in a way that’s close to Undetectable AI, though it lacks some customization.

Scribbr’s tool also performs well in terms of quality. However, it’s not the best choice if you’re dealing with a lot of text.

For Paraphraser.io, the quality is decent, but the ads in the free version are distracting. The premium plans are cheap, but there’s no refund option. It supports many languages, though I couldn’t test them all.

Ultimately, choosing an Undetectable AI alternative depends on what you need. It’s a good idea to try each one, as most have a free version, and find which offers the most precise and reliable results.

Keep in mind, no AI tool can evade detection systems constantly. Sometimes, it’s just chance. If you’ve tried any of these, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
